Norbert Wiener (1894-1964)

American Jew of Spaniard descent Norbert Wiener earned his Ph.D. from Harvard University at the age of 18. Wiener contributed to many areas of mathematics and science, but he became famous for developing the field of science called cybernetics. Interdisciplinary in nature, cybernetics is concerned with communication and control systems in living organisms, machines, and organizations.

Master's Degrees

For these master's degrees you need to accumulate a total of 40 points. A bachelor's degree is a prerequisite for WSAS acceptance, but applicants aged thirty and over who do not hold a bachelor's degree will be considered on merit on the basis of professional experience and prior training, private study, etc., if it is felt that the applicant may be capable of successfully completing a program.

Throughout the program you are expected to undertake assignments. These are usually marked by your tutor, who will comment constructively on your work. All students will be required to present a final project in a pre-approved subject area.

The total tuition fees for our master's degree programs are €1650.00. You can choose from payment plans A, B, and C. According to payment plan A (10% off), you would have to pay €1485.00 in one full payment at enrollment time. According to plan B, €413.00 at enrollment time and three more identical installment payments in two, four, and six months from registration. According to plan C (10% interest), €454.00 at registration and twelve monthly installment payments of €113.00 each. Tuition includes textbooks and shipping cost.



About Wiener School for Advanced Studies

WSAS provides adult continuing education. It was developed to meet the needs of adults by offering information systems management and business management programs on an international basis. The programs have been organized and developed using as a starting point the "off-campus" external degree concept tried and tested by the various "universities without walls".

You decide how long you will take to complete your course work. While you are studying, a teacher will be available to offer help, answer questions, and guide you through the learning process, but students are free to choose their own study pace.
